Rabbi Jaime Araujo

Rabbi Jaime Araujo, was born in northern Brazil where he served as regional director for Youth with a Mission/University of the Nations until he came to Richmond. In Richmond he continued to served as the director of Youth with a Mission/University of the Nations gaining over 40 years of experience. 

In 2011, Rabbi Jaime Araujo was invited by the Messianic Jewish movement to become the leader of a congregation in Brazil. He remained there until 2015. 

In 2017 he became our rabbi.  He is a member of the Elder Board, and serves as a teacher of the Word. 

Rabbi Jaime Araujo uses his years of leadership and mission experience to reach out to a wide range of people. His upbeat and optimistic personality is described as encouraging and genuine. 

He is a family man with a heart for people. Married to Maristela Araujo for almost 40 years, Rabbie Jaime Araujo also has children and grandchildren.
